sweet Americana doll, Maddy.

 
Maddy measures 14inches and is attached to wooden base. 

Her hair is auburn and she has a blue ribbon headband under her sailor's hat. I made her paper sailor's hat from paper and added a flag bow. 

Hat is pinned to her head, and hat can be removed. 

Her sweet vintage fabric dress is embellished with an antique Navy button and silver tinsel garland.

This year I did something different, no large Santa dolls,

our Christmas dolls this year are 

as some of my sweet customers refer to them as

precious and dainty.

These sweet Santa dolls & Snow Folks are 2015 Grimitives Original Dolls made with lots love, detail and charm. They are attached to a wood base. I painted the base with clay/chalk paint, sanded and aged. 

I will also have sweet tiny Snowgrimm ornies.

Saint Nick is a sweet little fella made of cloth. 
Saint Nick's Size: 11 inches from wood base to his head.

Pinch stitched nose with tiny black glass eyes 

and a dusting of blush. 
His hair and beard is mohair.

He is dressed in grubby faded red flannel suit.
His outfit is accented with fabric sash, two grungy stockings, little wreath and tiny rusty bells.

He is mounted on a painted/aged wood base 
and can not be removed.

Americana Santas

 

All Santa’s bodies are made of stained osnaburg. Their arms are bendable, and they has black chenille stems for legs.

Santas measures 8 inches from hood to their feet.

 They have blue glass eyes, with pinched stitched nose, dusting of blush. 

Santa’s beard is white mohair. 

Santas are holding a tiny vintage bottle brush tree that I have dusted with mica and

an American flag that I made from fabric.

 All Santa’s outfits are accented with rusty bells on safety pins.

and accented with off white wool for trim. 

Trim has been hand stitched to his hood, coat, and sleeves.
