Simple & Sweet...

That's what little Witch Sara is made of!

 Simple Sara measures 14 inches 

and 11 inches without witches hat.

Her dress is made of black linen fabric 
and hand dyed burnt copper color ribbon.
Ribbon is hand stitched & gathered to her neckline 
and hand stitched to the bottom of her dress.

Her dress is accented with silver garland 
and black glass glitter star.
 She has painted black & white stripe legs
and painted black shoes.

Witch Sara has blue glass eyes, 
and stitched eyelids and shading.
Her hair is light wavy auburn mohair.
Her witches hat is made of heavy card stock & felt
and is accented with black/
copper color flower and black ribbon.
Hat is is pinned to her head with a glass hat pin 
and hat can be removed.

Her witches broomstick, 
is made of grapevine stick and raffia.
And has been painted black.

Pumpkins!!!
How cool & fun are these pumpkins??!!
Pumpkins are paper mache...that I painted black and orange and then I gilded them.
Gilding is: the technique of applying a thin layer of gold to a surface.
But instead of gold...
I used silver and copper leaf.

Pumpkins then were aged and sealed.

They were so much fun to make.
Great look for Autumn.
